HOWTO

• LILO

  • Add “message=/boot/message” to /etc/lilo.conf

• GRUB

  • Add “gfxmenu (hd0,1)/boot/message” (or similar) to /boot/grub/menu.lst

• Reboot the computer

• You should see a graphically pleasing boot menu
