• Follow the instructions for your distribution

• Generally, it involves the following

  • Boot the first CDROM
    • Insure that the BIOS allows the CDROM to boot first
  • Answer some questions
  • Wait a while for software to install
  • Boot the OS for the first time
  • Configure printers, network, sound, X windows, etc.
