Out of space...

• So you've run out of space... what todo...

  • Add physical space to the machine or free up PV space from elsewhere (possibly using pvmove)
  • "vgextend" the Volume Group onto the newly available PV
  • "lvextend" the Logical Volume where the filesystem resides to fill the newly created space in the VG
  • grow the filesystem to create new space

• Do this while never having to umount the FS
